Ganderbal 30 Dec 2022 : A residential house was damaged in a massive fire incident during midnight in the Nowpora Tulmulla area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. leaving the three families shelterless and causing huge loss of property, officials said.
An official told that during the intervening night of Thursday and friday flames emerged from a residential house situated in the Nowpora Tulmulla area of Ganderbal.
He said residential house belongs to Mohd Maqbool Dar,Bilal Ahmad Dar, Abdul Rasheed Dar, resulting in the property worth lakhs reduced into ashes.
“Soon after the incident fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse off the flames with the help of locals,however,house was damaged during the fire incident,” he said.
The cause of the fire was being ascertained, he said.
Meanwhile, locals have appealed the district administration to provide immediate relief to affected family as the family is poor and have no substantial source of income.
